Just a few snapshots of the many talents and skills on show at the 2009 Fair.
Welcome! Agas dynnergh!
The second 'Fair For the Future' will take place in deepest Penwith, Cornwall on September 18th.
This event is organised by Transition Penwith: a growing movement of people working towards a sustainable future. The action plan for TP concerns many aspects of our lives including food, housing, transport, health and social issues.
This blog was set up by the TP Arts group in 2009. They are exploring ways that the arts can support transition agendas.
Fair for the Future aims to celebrate sustainability by gathering together local people, including producers, craft workers, artists, and musicians to share information, skills and ideas so we can move forward towards a fairer future. Fair for ourselves, Fair for nature and Fair for the planet.
The event will be hosted by Beccie and Charlie Griffiths on their land at Ryn Gwari Farm, No-go-by Hill (about a mile north of St Just on the way to Carnyorth).
We hope to see you there!
