This blog might provide a platform for discussion, or sharing and exchanging ideas just for the arts group, or for all involved in FFF, which should help keep the processes as transparent and inclusive as possible, and also spread the word. I'm not sure which is best, so will start small, by limiting the authorship of the blog solely to the other four folk who were at lasts nights meeting, who will be invited to contribute by posting a blog or at least leaving some feedback comments.
Perhaps we can then decide if this is a useful tool or not.
This does seem like a good forum for airing views. There is a natural tendency for us to view the world, and therefore events like FFF and TP, from our own perspective. The oportunity to express that point of view is also the chance for others to see it. Then we get to broaden our horizons. All we can do is share by both giving and taking. Everyones' input is valid and interesting.The combination of individuals' ideas and group reactions is a wonderful creative energy. There is the forest and there are the individual trees and there are all the different points of view, each sees the forest slightly differently, which is an original perspective and can be reflected back to the rest of the forest.... I greatly look forward to seeing images and ideas from you all. Does this mean we must communcate in both email and the Blog if we want to share artistic ideas say for the displays??
